My Story

Rebecca Drew

Rebecca Drew’s journey began in Trinidad and Tobago, a vibrant and diverse place. However, at the age of 5, her family moved to the United States, where she spent most of her childhood in Washington. This transition was challenging, as she struggled to find a sense of belonging in a community that was very different from her own. The lack of representation and celebration of diversity posed a significant challenge during her young adult life. Despite the adversity, this experience shaped Rebecca into the person she is today.

Throughout her journey, Rebecca developed a passion for promoting access, diversity, equity, and inclusion. This passion was cultivated during her time in the Western Washington University Marketing Program, where she learned to advocate for and uplift underrepresented voices in her community. Today, Rebecca is committed to integrating these principles into her work, reflecting her dedication to celebrating and empowering every voice, regardless of background or origin.
